There she was with white cuffs split at her wrists out of a plush black (was it velvet?) blazer. She actually exuded more natural rock-royalty than her line did, which it DID, in a casual friday way – authentic, unplanned; exactly NOT how I pictured a live fashion appearance to be. Glam pieces that alone stand red-carpet ready, but could easily slip into the everyday-wardrobes disorganized styling.
She was introducing her new line to Holt Renfrew. Vancouver, age 16 – she was here doing what is currently an actual word – “Glamping.” Allowing a good cause to drive her, she now has a NYT bestselling book to her name and a reality TV show on Bravo. When talking about the motivation behind her work in fashion she stresses the importance of being a good person.
Her show was lovely, with capes, faux fur, white jackets, silk, boots, messy buns: ‘feminine but with structure.’
